Your tax return is due April 15 (or close to that- it falls on a weekend so you have until Monday, April 18 at midnight), to file your tax return.

If you are just not ready, what then?

You have the option to prepare an extension, or we can file for you, which will grant you an automatic 6 month extended time frame to October 17, 2016 to file your 2015 taxes. Please note that while an extension grants you additional time to PREPARE your return, it does not extend the time to pay taxes- the dollars are technically due on April 18, and if you owe by October, you will likely have some penalties and interest on owing. But you do avoid certain penalties, such as the penalty for late filing, so it is better to file an extension than not.

Ok, well what if you haven’t filed before? Perhaps you are sitting on years of unfiled returns, and just figure you add one more year to the pile. What then? Contact us. We can HELP you. The IRS is most interested in getting taxpayers to rejoin the roles and file annually. They are willing to work reasonable deals, and when you come to THEM, instead of them coming to YOU, you come with a much stronger basis to settle on your terms.

Let us remove one of your headaches- dealing with the IRS. That is what we are here for. Please contact us. We will help you. We care about you and do our best to help.
