firm of Kenneth P. Rapoport CPA, Ltd. specializes in individual and small business
accounting, consulting and taxation, and are dedicated to meeting all the accounting, tax
and consulting needs of our clients. A few areas in which we are proficient are general
ledger, payroll, financial statements, tax planning and business and individual tax
preparation, including out of state returns. We are familiar with many small business
software programs, such as Quickbooks/Quicken, One-Write Plus and Peachtree. Our clientele is very diverse. They range from retail, manufacturing,
construction, service businesses, and professional practices, to real estate and
condominium associations. We do accounting work for various sized companies, including
Corporations and S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Partnerships, Sole
Proprietorships, Individuals, Non-profit Organizations, Estates and Trusts. |

Ken
Rapoport has been in public practice for over fourteen years, and has been certified and
licensed since 1983. He is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree with emphasis in Public Accounting. He has also progressed
toward a Master of Science in Taxation at DePaul University. Ken has co-sponsored a tax
talk column in the Pioneer Press newspapers. Previously, he was a partner in a Prospect
Heights CPA firm. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the Independent Accountants Association of
Illinois. Ken keeps abreast of new tax laws through continuing professional education. Kenneth P. Rapoport C.P.A., Ltd.'s philosophy is that of working closely with
our clients. We genuinely care about each of our clients' financial situations and we take
it upon ourselves to seek out ways in which to help them. We try to become as familiar as
possible with our clients and like to give personal attention to all of their accounting
needs.
Our practice is fully computerized. Currently, we have two
full-time staff professionals and several para-professionals. |
